>> Monday, August 17, 2009
Female Sterilization through tubal ligation is permanent family planning method. A woman must think carefully and decide she well never want more children. Then she may choose female sterilization. It is a very effective procedure, involves safe and simple surgery. After the procedure the patient only rests for a few days, avoid heavy work or lifting heavy objects. The patient may have some pain for a few days. She may take pain-killer paracetamol but not aspirin or ibuprofen.
Although tubal ligation prevents the woman from getting pregnant it does not prevent sexually transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS.
